This piece was initially inspired by the feeling of being home, safe in bed.  The feeling of being swallowed up in a blanket as the morning light changes to night.  

The dress is created in a taupe, stretch, silk georgette.  Tulle is hand-dyed and hand-woven to mimic a cable knit design, which was then draped around the body of the dress.  The tulle is embellished with fresh water pearls and crystals that weave through the design and delicately fall over the French Chantilly lace appliqués.
